I must say that Hamilton County knows how to offer awesome parks at reasonable prices. On Friday, Grant and I with some friends ventured to Parky's Farm and splash park in Winton Woods (about 3 miles from Cincy Mills). I would say without traffic its about 35 minutes. Unforunately, the route mapquest took us it was over an hour and a half, but we had a good laugh and learned a good lesson to use common sense before blindly following where mapquest directs.

"Cool" was the word used over and over on the hayride. $2/person

Scouting out which animal to visit first at the free petting zoo. Turns out my kid loves goats. He spent over an hour with them. Not sure where the fascination with goats come from, maybe because he drank goat milk for a year??? You can add on a pony ride for $2

Playing in the carrots at the Play Barn - think of a small version of Otterville ($2/child, adults free)

Loved, loved, loved the splash park ($1/child, adults free)

A well deserved nap after a fun, hot day. Not including gas, the day was $9. I thought that was reasonable price for all the activities. This is a great mini trip for playgroups or when family comes in town! In fact, my parents took Grant again the next day and Grant spent another hour with the goats, too funny:-)

I love goats too! We'll have to venture up one day - it looks great.
That looks awesome. I've heard of the place - through WAKW - but never knew what it was.
How fun! I have never heard of it. Sounds like a great place to take the kids.
