Back from Holland, MI that is, not Holland the country:-) We had a fabulous family vacation this past week. Holland is a beautiful town and is very friendly towards younger families with paved bike trails and clean, beautiful beaches off of Lake Michigan. With temps in the low 80s we all enjoyed a break from the heat. Here's some of my favorite pics.

Notice anything missing? Like people? We had this fabulous house in a subdivision that had bascially a mile of private beach. The busiest we ever saw the beach was with 10 other people - paradise!

Colin awake at the beach.

Colin passed out at the beach - precious:-)

We visited a Critter Farm that advertised helping with chores. They weren't kidding. We milked goats and fed the animals. The kids loved it!

Colin's expression, "You want me to do what with the bunny?"

More fun family picts from vacation:

My 58 year old Dad coming down a slide at the Crazy Bounce House. What grandparents will do for their grandkids;-)

Cousin Caroline on the beach. Due to distance we only get to see Caroline a few times a year so it was some great bonding time for the cousins.

One last family shot to remember a great time together. Ready to do it again next year!

glad to see you had a great time in our neck of the woods!
What a wonderful vacation!! The one of Colin sleeping on the beach made me jealous. Glad you guys had a great trip. :)
This also reminds me - I still haven't talked to the friend who is my connection to that goat farm. I need to get on that, don't I? It would be a good fall time activity (because I don't want anything to do with their dusty goats in the heat).
It looks like it was so great -- my fave pic is Colin with the bunny! Haha.
This look fabulous. I'd like to hear more about it when we are together again (which rarely happens unfortunately). I've heard Michigan beaches are just as great as Eastern beaches without the drive.
