36 Weeks

It has been a good day and I am thankful for that. The last trimester of this pregnancy has just been an overall really good time. I have felt the best I have felt the whole pregnancy. The boys seem as excited to welcome their new brother as Kurt and I do. By God's grace, I am content that there are most likely several weeks to go before we welcome the new addition. I am usually so impatient and ready for the baby to be here yesterday. I think part of it is feeling good physically, but also knowing the reality of a newborn and being thankful for a full night's sleep - yes, I am still sleeping well at night. Loving and taking care of my two boys before figuring out how to split my time between 3. The nice weather this month has definitely helped too. And then there's this whole reminder:
Yeah, with Colin I broke several bones in my hand at 37 weeks. Very glamorous story, tripped over my own feet while taking out the trash. Did I mention that Kurt was travelling for work? It was incredibly painful and something I hope not to repeat this pregnancy. When I begin to feel bad for myself, I remind myself that it could be MUCH worse;-)

Moving on, Colin is obsessed with my belly and has fun when showing off his own.He has been giving me a run for my money lately. One second being so sweet and loving and then the next, well, he is really good at being 2 sometimes. Love that little man...Trying to convince me that he fits into baby's car seat. It does seem like just yesterday that he did!Oh how these boys are loved. Can't wait to add a third into this crazy house, but not just yet...

You look amazing. Even though you're obviously carting around a growing child - your face seems really lean (not round and chubby like I remember mine always getting!) We are praying for you guys! Love all of the pics...and oh how I remember your broken hand like it happened yesterday! I can't believe it has been 2.5 years!
