What a beautiful Easter we had today with temps close to 80! A great improvement in weather over last year's cold and windy Easter day. We celebrated Easter the previous weekend with my family so after an awesome Easter service this morning, the 4 of us headed to the zoo. We knew it was either going to be really packed or empty. Thankfully, it was empty (at least when we got there!)
It was our first trip this spring and we couldn't have asked for a better time. The boys are at such great ages. Grant is really asking more questions and wanting to understand about the animals. Colin is still in awe of the animals and walks around mouth wide open most of the time. Reminds me so much of his big brother at that age.

What would a trip to the zoo with all boys be without snakes and reptiles? Apparently, not nearly as much fun as my boys ate these animals up:-)

Grant taking time to smell the tulips.

So excited because my tulips that I planted last year after Zoo blooms will be blooming this week for sure!

Thankfully we don't believe in child labor laws around here. After the zoo, Colin helped Daddy to clean the inside of Mommy's van. Don't worry, Colin's favorite thing to do is be a "big helper".
A beautiful day celebrating that my sin has been washed away. Blessed beyond measure indeed. Happy Easter to all my friends and family - we love you all!
